We’re excited to introduce the latest update to Seatmap Pro, version 1.33.1, packed with significant improvements that enhance both flexibility in design and accessibility for all users. Here’s a breakdown of the key updates:

1. Polygon Sections for Flexible Seating Layouts

One of the standout features in this release is the addition of Polygon Sections. Previously, you could only add basic shapes like squares and circles to your seating maps. Now, you have the freedom to draw and assign any shape as a section. This allows for more creative and flexible seating arrangements, accommodating unique venue layouts and providing greater control over seating design.

The new Polygon Sections feature is easily accessible from the menu, where you can draw your desired shapes directly on the seating map.

2. Seats for People with Health Conditions

Accessibility is at the forefront of our latest update. With the introduction of Seats for People with Health Conditions, you can now designate specific seats as accessible directly within the seating map. This ensures that venues can cater to the needs of all attendees, providing clearly marked, easily identifiable seating options for such individuals.

This feature is designed to make your seating maps not only more inclusive but also compliant with accessibility standards, making event planning smoother and more considerate of all guests.

3. Ordering Rows by Letters

To improve the organization and customization of seating, we’ve added the ability to Order Rows by Letters. This feature allows you to sort rows alphabetically, with the option to extend beyond single letters (e.g., “X, Y, Z, AA, AB, AC…”). You can also manually adjust the order to suit your venue's layout, whether that means sorting from top to bottom or left to right.

This enhancement brings a new level of flexibility to seat ordering, making it easier to manage and customize seating arrangements.

Bug Fixes

We’ve also addressed several bugs in this release to improve overall user experience:

  • The Reset Key button, which was previously malfunctioning, now works as expected.
  • Various minor interface glitches have been resolved for smoother operation.
